This is a co-production with Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, GA. Seeking actors who are available for both production runs. Particularly interested in AEA actors who are new to Atlanta or have Atlanta housing.

Sides will be provided. If you have not been seen at Horizon before, please also prepare a contemporary monologue. Please bring two photos and resumes.

The production will run at Horizon in the May/June 2015 and then go to Aurora Theatre in October 2015.

Breakdown
Actors for 2015 Horizon season production of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. This will be a co-production with Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, GA. The production will run at Horizon in the May/June 2015 and then go to Aurora Theatre in October 2015. Seeking actors who are available for both production runs. Particularly interested in seeing Equity actors who are new to Atlanta or who have Atlanta housing and are able to work as local jobbers. Horizon does not have access to housing for out of town actors.
Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia have never left the confines of their childhood home in Bucks County, PA, while their sister Masha has been gallivanting around the world as a successful actress. A surprise visit from Masha and her 20-something boy toy, Spike, throws the normally quiet household into utter upheaval as its residents and visitors get swept up in an intoxicating mixture of lust, rivalry, regret, and the sudden possibility of escap

VANYA:

MASHA:
female, 40s-50s, Vanya's sister, glamorous and successful actress that goes gallivanting around the world. Any ethnicity
SPIKE:
male, mid 20s-early 30s, aspiring actor, sexy, self-absorbed, Masha's new companion. Any ethnicity
CASSANDRA:
female, any age, African American or any non-Caucasian (in the original production, the character was African-American, late 20s), cleaning lady and soothsayer.
NINA:
