SEEKING
TimeLine Theatre Company is holding auditions for its 2016/17 season. Productions include: BAKERSFIELD MIST (already cast), THE LAST WIFE, A DISAPEARING NUMBER, PARADISE BLUE. Seeking adult actors of all genders and ethnicities.
PREPARATION
Actors should prepare one monologue of their choice that lasts no more than 3 minutes. Be sure to bring a headshot and resume and please include both a phone number and email address on your resume.

An unemployed bartender. Stubborn, determined, and cunning. Lionel Percy (Cast) – Male, 60s. Could be played by any ethnicity. An art expert. Controlled, but emotionally sensitive. THE LAST WIFE by Kate Hennig First rehearsal – 8/1/16 Previews begin – 9/21/16 Opens – 9/29/16 Closes – 12/18/16 Roles: Kate (Cast) – Female, 30s. Could be played by any ethnicity. A Lady of the Court, later Queen. Smart, confident, and passionate. Bess (Cast) – Female, 11-14 years. Could be played by any ethnicity. Straight-talking, easily jealous. Mary – Female, late 20s. Hardy – A British mathematician (30's-mid 40's) Surita Bhogaita / Barbara Jones/ Ensemble (20’s-30’s) - Surita is a young college student. Barbara is a helpful customer service employee Ramanujan’s Mother / University Cleaner / Ensemble (30’s-40’s). Ramanujan's Mother is a caretaker for her son, strong and sad. Black. Pretty in a plain way. Simple, sweet. Blue (Cast) – Male, mid to late 30s/early 40s. Black. Handsome, mysterious, sexy. A hard shell and a hard interior. A gifted trumpeter. Corn – Male, late 40s to early 50s. Black. Slightly chubby. Easygoing and thoughtful. A sweetheart with a weakness for love. The piano man. P-Sam – Male, mid to late 30s. Black. Busybody, sweet talker, hustler. The percussionist. Silver (Cast) – Female, late 30s to early 40s. Black. Gritty and raw in a way that men find irresistible.
