Breakdown

All roles have been CAST. Seeking for possible replacements of the following two roles should they become needed:

DOCTOR:
African-American male, Mid 30s-50. A descendant of a sailing family, a freeman working as medic on an 1820s slave ship. A tough, battle worn, reserved and understandably cynical survivor. Comfort with classical language a requirement.

CHARGER:
White Male, late 30s, 40s. Crewman on an 1820s slave ship. Experienced, a natural leader and physically formidable. He is not easily intimidated, can be prone to violent bursts but has a genuine admiration for and commitment to the safety of his shipmates.
