10:30 AM – 4:30 PM all three days.

No scheduled break.

No appointment necessary. The producer will run all aspects of this call. Equity audition procedures will NOT be in effect, and no Equity Monitor will be provided.

Please prepare a brief heightened-language monologue or a monologue from “The Three Musketeers” (book or any stage adaptation).

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Seeking (all roles are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted)). Eleven Equity contracts available:

D’Artagnan:

Young and daring. The play tells his story as he enters into the adventures and intrigues in Paris. His greatest wish is to be a Musketeer.

Porthos:

Musketeer. Very talkative and full of fun. Loves to tell tales of his adventures in love and battle.

Athos:

Oldest and most serious Musketeer. Becomes D’Artagnan’s mentor.

Aramis:

Musketeer. Torn between the world of the church and the world of women.

Captain Treville / Planchet:

Treville: Captain of The Musketeers. He exemplifies bravery, wisdom and good leadership. Planchet: D’Artagnan’s servant.

King Louis / Ensemble:

Young king, manipulated by the Cardinal. Youthfully admiring of his Musketeers.

Cardinal Richelieu / Ensemble:

Wants to rule France by influencing the King, and tries to undermine Queen Anne.

Duke of Buckingham / Rochefort:

Buckingham: Romantic English duke. In love with Queen Anne. Rochefort: Cardinal’s assistant.

Constance Bonacieux / Ensemble:

Young dressmaker to Queen Anne. Devoted to the queen. Falls in love with D'Artagnan.

Queen Anne / Ensemble:

Her marriage to King Louis is based on political gains, not love. Loves Buckingham. Despises the Cardinal.

Milady, the Countess de Winter / Ensemble:

Will do anything the Cardinal asks of her. She is dangerous.
