Monmouth ME LOA (approval and salary level pending; 2010 minimum weekly salary: $390). In addition to salary, all contracts offer housing, transportation, all meals. Gym membership provided.

Season’s 1st reh: 6/14/11. Runs 7/8-8/20 at Cumston Hall in Monmouth ME.

Please prepare two brief, contrasting classic monologues. One monologue should be Shakespeare.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Seeking a company of Seven Actors (five men and two women, to play roles ranging in age from 30 – 60) for the 2011 summer season. Each actor plays three or four roles (see below), and all shows are rehearsed and performed in repertory.

Theatre’s casting note: “We’re looking for theater artists who would like to join a strong existing ensemble company and are interested in teamwork, collaboration and artistic growth, in a creatively charged atmosphere in a beautiful rural community in central Maine.”

MUCH ADO AbOUT NOTHING by Shakespeare. Dir: Jeri Pitcher.

ROOM SERVICE by Allen Boretz and John Murray. Dir TBA.

BLITHE SPIRIT by Noel Coward. Dir: Davis Robinson.

KING LEAR by Shakespeare. Dir: David Greenham.

Women on Equity contracts may be assigned some combination of the following roles: Beatrice, Ursula (MUCH ADO); Christine Marlowe (ROOM SERVICE); Mme. Arcati, Ruth Condomine, Elvira (BLITHE SPIRIT); Goneril, The Fool (LEAR).

Men on Equity contracts may be assigned some combination of the following roles: Don Pedro, Benedick, Leonato, Dogberry (MUCH ADO);Shasha Smirnoff, Gregory Wagner, Harry Binion, Joseph Gribble (ROOM SERVICE); Charles Condomine, Dr. Bradman (BLITHE SPIRIT); Lear, Earl of Kent, Earl of Gloucester, Edgar, Edmund, The Fool (LEAR).
