Lynn:
Female. 20's-40's. Any ethnicity. Private investigator. Smart, insightful, a straight shooter. Thinks she's seen it all, soon realizes she hasn't.

Raf:
Male. 30's-40's. Latino. Former astronaut. Charming, self-destructive, reckless. A layer of guilt beneath his anger and confidence.

Tanya:
Female. 20's-30's. Any ethnicity. A public defender in a world shakily rediscovering the law. Passionate and idealistic.

Fee:
Female. 30's-40's. African-American. The Governor's right-hand woman. Empathetic and clear-sighted, even while hardened by loss. Devoted to and resentful of her friend in equal measure.
