Seeking:
ATROPOS:
Female. 30- 40s. A Greek Goddess and eldest Fate sister. Her responsibility is to cut the thread that represents a mortal’s life when it needs to end. She feels like a single mom. Elegant, efficient, responsible; she has to learn to be playful for the first time through her relationship with Mickey. Need comedy skills. Alto w/ strong belt/mix to E. Seeking actors of all ethnicities.
LACHESIS:
Female. 25-35. The middle sister of the three Fates, responsible for developing the life of each mortal. Restless and impatient, like a teenager, she thinks she knows best, but doesn't want the responsibility that comes with being in charge. Strong, sassy, complainy, fabulous. Alto w/ strong belt to F. Seeking actors of all ethnicities.
CLOTHO:
Female. 25-35. The littlest Fate sister, responsible for creating the life of each mortal. The most optimistic of the three fates, sometimes scatterbrained. Full-figured, cheerful and wise. Though sometimes childlike in attitude, she should still have a central strength that would have us believe she's a god (albeit one with a wicked sweet tooth). Alto/mezz w/ strong mix to E. Seeking actors of all ethnicities.
MICKEY:
Male. Mid-30s. A member of the real world, and a true shy and funny everyman. He’s a security guard who's never lived up to his potential. Working class, and a bit of a mess. Nerdy, self-critical, self-deprecating, and totally charming in his own fumbling Woody Allen way. A pratfall waiting to happen. Strong tenor to A. Seeking actors of all ethnicities.
O'BRIEN:
Male. 40s. A member of the real world, and a fellow security guard and mentor to Mickey. A gruff good guy with a surprising heart of gold, in love with Geneva. Also sings with the chorus. Baritone/tenor to F#. Seeking actors of all ethnicities.
GENEVA:
Female. 40s. A mysteriously quiet janitor about O'Brien's age and an onstage presence that is slightly otherworldly. Also plays NIGHT the Fates' mother and sings with the chorus. In love with O'Brien. Alto to C. Seeking actors of all ethnicities.
CHORUS:
Seeking actors of varying ages to represent workers in an office building, 20s- 50s.
MAN 1:
Alpha Male golden boy. Represents the patriarchy, and plays Zeus, Mr. London, Raymundo, and various security guards. Seeking a very strong musician of any ethnicity. Tenor to B.
MAN 2:
Super quirky administrative assistant type, to play Rudolph, mailroom guy, and various security guards. Seeking a very strong musician of any ethnicity. Tenor to B.
WOMAN 1:
A snarky temp who does too much yoga. Plays Sierra and various security guards. Seeking a very strong musician of any ethnicity. Versatile mix/ belt to F#.
WOMAN 2:
A really nice, warm woman, probably earnest middle management, to play Emily, Francine, various security guards. Seeking a very strong musician of any ethnicity. Versatile mix/ belt to F#.
