BREAKDOWN
Siren’s Den is a dark, modern twist on the myth of the Greek sirens. Here, the turbulent sea is the music industry, and the siren is Skylar Cole, a seductive indie rock singer in NYC. Skylar’s biggest fan is aspiring singer, Remy Morgan, who finds that spending time with Skylar fuels her own songwriting. Soon, Remy finds herself drawn into a world of drugs, lust and empty promises. Will Remy find success? Or will she fall prey to Skylar’s siren song forever?
SEEKING:
Skylar:
Female. Caucasian, Latina or Mixed Race. 30’s-40’s. Sexy, charismatic actress who can seduce a room with a glance. Excellent pop/rock singer with an edgy sound. Must be comfortable with same sex kissing. Dark hair preferred.
Logan:
Male. 30’s-40’s. Remy’s manager who harbors romantic feelings for her, despite his own dark past with Skylar. Rock tenor. Guitar skills a plus.
Garrett:
Male. Late 20’s-30’s. Skylar’s former bad-boy boyfriend turned jealous husband. He is fed up with the sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle and longs for a home and family. Strong rock voice.
