Breakdown

The following roles have been cast. Seeking understudies/ possible replacements:

GIOVANNI “NINO” CINQUEMANI
Role CAST. Caucasian, 65, New York Mafia Capo. Protected by his younger brother, Pasquale, the Boss of their Family. A small, portly figure, with receding slick black hair, meticulously dressed and manicured. A lifelong Brooklyn-ite, he has a thick New York accent. Nino is gay and protecting a lover as well as the secret of his sexuality in a world deeply hostile to it.

SANFORD WEISS, ESQ.
Role CAST. Caucasian 40’s, Nino’s criminal defense attorney. Sanford is a confident, competent and scrappy lawyer who is capable of shrewd discretion as well as calculated outbursts. Like his client, an obvious New Yorker, he is dressed conservatively in a blue, pinstriped suit.

PATRICIA COLE
Role CAST. 35-45, Assistant U.S. Attorney, African American not a native New Yorker. Patricia is slender and beautiful; her hair is pulled back and she is dressed conservatively in a suit and heels. A strong, intelligent and most importantly, confident, woman, Patricia is in complete control of her surroundings. She knows her position at all times, and her job, and confidently knows how to perform it. Also, does not suffer fools gladly.

PASQUALE CINQUIMANI
Role CAST. Caucasian. In his late 50’s, Pasquale is medium height, thin with an almost regal quality. He is dressed elegantly but understated; he exudes power with no apparent effort at demonstrating it and is always the most powerful person in the room. Pasquale is the Capo di tutti capi, the supreme mob boss and is also Nino’s younger brother.
