SEEKING

Seeking future replacements for the Broadway company. Equity Male Dancers: All male dancers must be 6’0” or taller and must be classical/ballet dancers. They should have solid classical technique with a musical theatre flair. They must be well built and muscular. Bring ballet shoes. Casting for The Phantom of the Opera is interracial. Dancers of all ethnic backgrounds and races are encouraged to attend.


PREPARATION

All dancers, please be dressed, warmed up and ready to dance at the hour the audition begins. Have ballet shoes. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together. You should also bring 16 bars of a simple song if you are asked to stay and sing. Choose music from the musical theatre repertoire that best shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. There is no solo singing for the dancers (except ‘Meg’), but they will have to carry some vocal responsibility in the ensemble numbers.
