BREAKDOWN
Oedipus Rex
African American male, 30-40. The King of Thebes, who became King by murdering his father and marrying his mother (all unbeknownst to him), thus fulfilling a fateful prophecy. Strong, a warrior, but with a heart.
Chorus Leader
African American male. Leads the Chorus of Thebes. The chorus will operate as a traditional Greek Chorus, while also working together to portray the citizens of Thebes. Strong Movement experience preferred.
