Sides will be provided at the audition and will be available at the theatre in advance. Visually-impaired performers may request an advance copy of sides when making an audition appointment.

All roles are avaiable unless otherwise specified.

LOVE CHILD by Daniel Jenkins and Robert Stanton. Dir TBA. 1st reh: 1/24/12. Runs 2/15 - 3/18/12.

One-act comedy about an insecure actor with a dominating stage mother who also happens to be his agent. Centers on the opening night of an updated production of a Greek classic.

Two actors play all 22 characters. Both actors should have a facility with portraying multiple characters, and should be versatile both vocally and physically.

Actor 1:

Male, appears 35-45. Characters in this track include Joel, an out-of-work actor looking to make his mark; Kay, Joel’s agent’s flighty assistant/sister; and several other characters in the theatre company performing the Greek tragedy.

Actor 2:

Male, appears 35-45. Characters in this track include Richard, Joel’s struggling-actor father, currently working as a clown; Ethel, Joel’s dominating mother/agent; and several other characters in the theatre company performing the Greek tragedy.
