THE FOREIGNER
First Rehearsal - June 27 - Performance Dates -July 6-15

FROGGY LESUEUR:
(40-50s) A British military demolitions expert and Charlie's caring friend. Cockney Accent.

CHARLIE BAKER:
(30-40s) A science-fiction copy editor who is a pathologically shy little man with little personality.

BETTY MEEKS:
(60-70s) The proprietor of a Georgia fishing lodge and a long-time friend of Froggy. She is pleasant, wise, and naïve all rolled into one. She is a good-hearted, generous, “down-home” Southerner..

REVEREND DAVID MARSHALL LEE:
(30s) He is neither the stereotypical pallid young divinity student nor the hearty backslapping evangelist. Reverend David is a very likeable guy who is not what he seems to be.

CATHERINE SIMMS:
(30s) She is a formidable force and engaged to Reverend David. She is occasionally almost too much for the good reverend to handle. She has a ready wit and a sharp tongue. She badly needs someone to talk to.

OWEN MUSSER:
(40-50s) The Tilghman County property inspector, Owen is a two-tattoo man: one of them, he may have gotten w

RICHARD HANNAY
(Late 20s to Early 40s). A dashing leading man entangled in the adventure of a lifetime, as he becomes a fugitive on the run to save his own life and foil the spy ring that is trying to silence him, British dialect.

ANNABELLA SCHMIDT/MARGARET/PAMELA
(20s-30s) Versatile actress to play three roles a la a young leading lady from the black-and-white films of the 1930s; Annabella is a mysterious alluring German spy; Margaret is young, shy, sheltered, very pretty British wife of an older country farmer; Pamela is our spunky, independent, and very beautiful young British heroine.

CLOWN #1 and CLOWN #2
(Male - 20-50s) Character actors to share in playing some 150 other roles in the piece, must be extremely versatile, creative, and playful actors with excellent verbal and physical comic timing and a great sense of the genre of the film, must be adept with multiple European dialects
