The Cook (Black Male, 40s)- down to earth, street smart, easy going, knows how to get by, something of a ladies man, has a killer smile and knows it./ The Chaplain (Black Male, 40s) - his holiness is as thread bare as his priestly garb. Something of a hypocrite-- but there is still a vestige of his former religious self that surprises even him. He's resourceful, knows how to cling like a flea. / General/The Colonel/Older Soldier/ Injured farmer/as cast - (Black Male, late 40s/50s) an actor with a certain girth and gravitas, comfortable playing characters with outsized desires
