Breakdown
THE LEADING CHARACTER ROLES:
SIR JOHN FLETCHER – A dashing captain of industry recruited to be a war minister in charge of the manufacture of tanks. Vigorous, attractive, responsible and very in love with Olivia.
MICHAEL BROWN – son of Olivia and Olivia’s late dentist husband, Michael is almost 18. Smart, idealistic, verbal and attractive, his political views (and his sense of morality) completely conflict with his mother and his mother’s lover, Sir John.
THE SUPPORTING CHARACTER ROLES:
DIANA FLETCHER – The ex-wife of Sir John, she’s in her mid to late 20s, extremely attractive and well-bred, she is rather delightfully shallow and financially irresponsible.
POLTON – a middle aged and highly respectable looking maid-housekeeper for Sir John. She’s resourceful, sees all, and does not judge.
MISS DELL – a sharp and dedicated administrative assistant to Sir John who depends on her. As Sir John clearly enjoys having attractive women around, she, too, is lovely, though quite
