The Lake Dillon Theatre Company in Silverthorne, CO, Colorado's most intimate professional theatre company, is currently accepting submissions for its 2016 Local Auditions to take place in Dillon, Colorado on Janurary 20 and 21. The Lake Dillon Theatre Company is an AEA SPT 6 theatre with Actor's Equity. Currently accepting submissions for the following shows: VELOCITY OF AUTUMN, THE DOYLE AND DEBBIE SHOW, CABARET, FIRST DATE, BAD JEWS.

VELOCITY OF AUTUMN (by Eric Koble) Dir: Chris Alleman (contract dates April 24 - May 22)- a play

CHRIS: 40s, male - Alexandra's son, has lived in Brooklyn for many years, but clearly not a resident. Slightly out of shape. Caring, conflicted.

The role of ALEXANDRA has been cast.

DOYLE AND DEBBIE SHOW (by Bruce Arnston) Dir: Ben Whitmore, Choreo: Debbie Whitmore. (contract dates May 23 - June 19)- a musical

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

DOYLE: 40s, male, baritone - Down-and-out country singer who longs for another shot at stardom (if he ever had any to begin with)

DEBBIE: 30s-40s, female, Mezzo-Soprano - Doyle's fourth wife and third Debbie. Fiery, but sweet in her own way. Patsy Cline-esque and just waiting for her big break

BUDDY: 30s-40s, male, Baritone/tenor - Doyle's long-suffering band leader and backup singer, musician, and technician. Acoustic guitar skills a plus, but not required

CABARET (Kander, Ebb, Masteroff) Dir/Choreo: Adam Estes (contract dates June 12 - August 15) - a musical

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

SALLY BOWLES: 20s-30s, female, Mezzo-Soprano – charismatic, enchanting, troubled performer at a 1930s German nightclub. British dialect

CLIFF BRADSHAW: 20s-30s, male, Baritone-Tenor – idealistic observer. A bit naïve but loyal to a fault.

ERNST: 20s-30s, male, Baritone/Tenor – charming, warm, but with a darker side and questionable associates

FRAULEIN SCHNEIDER: 50s-60s, female, Alto – runs a boarding house in Berlin, stern but with a soft side

FRAULEIN KOST: 20s-30s female, Mezzo-Soprano – likeable prostitute who also doubles as a Kit Kat Club dancer

KIT KAT CLUB GIRLS: 20s, females – various backgrounds and ethnicities, strong dancers, singers. Gritty, dark, mysterious, and yet irresistible. Double as various ensemble roles.

KIT KAT CLUB BOYS: 20s, males – various backgrounds and ethnicities, strong dancers, singers. Gritty, dark, mysterious and yet irresistible. Double as various ensemble roles

The Roles of EMCEE and HERR SCHULTZ have been cast.

FIRST DATE: (Zachary, Weiner, Winsberg) Dir/Choreo: Nick Sugar (contract dates August 14 - September 18) - a musical

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

AARON: 20s-30s, male, tenor: a bit too straight-laced and uptight, but very likeable with a geeky charm

CASEY: 20s-30s, female, mezzo-soprano: an edgy, outspoken rock-n-roller with a softer side she rarely shows

MAN #2: 20s-30s, male, baritone-tenor: versatile and comedic actor playing multiple roles: GABE / YOUTUBE / EDGY BRITISH GUY

WOMAN #2: 20s-30s, female, alto/mezzo-soprano: versatile and comedic actor playing multiple roles: GRANDMA IDA / LAURA / FACEBOOK / FEMALE W/ MEGAPHONE #2 / AARON'S MOTHER

MAN #3: 20s-30s, male, baritone-tenor: versatile and comedic actor playing multiple roles: WAITER/ CASEYS CHRISTIAN FATHER/ BLAZE/ TWITTER/ FRIENDLY THERAPIST

BAD JEWS (by Joshua Harmon) Dir: Joshua Blanchard (contract dates November 13 - December 18) - a play

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

DAPHNA FEYGENBAUM: 22, female: Liam and Jonah's first cousin. 2/3 body, 1/3 hair.

LIAM HABER: 25, male: Daphna's cousin. Wire-rim glasses. U of Chicago Asian Studies PhD student

JONAH HABER: 21, male: Liam's younger brother. Less lanky, less brainy, more brawn, more heart.

MELODY: 24, female: Liam's girlfriend. Blonde, extra cute, mousy.
