Male and Female Actors for roles in conflation of HENRY IV Parts 1 & 2 to be performed in the 15th Anniversary season of the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at Notre Dame.

Please prepare two contrasting Shakespeare monologues, not to exceed 3 minutes. Bring headshot and resume.


Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

KING HENRY IV - Male, 40+

FALSTAFF - Sir John, Male, 40+

WORCESTER/SHALLOW - Male, 40+; Nobleman, Brother to Northumberland and Hotspur's Uncle / Shallow is an elderly justice of the peace - borderline senile

LORD CHEIF JUSTICE/BLUNT - Male 30+; High Court Officer - despises Falstaff - once imprisoned Prince Harry/ one of King Henry IV's noblemen;

PRINCE HARRY - Male, 20+; Heir to the throne;

HOTSPUR - Male, 20+; Henry Percy; Son of Northumberland; leads rebellion against Henry I

MISTRESS QUICKLY/LADY NORTHUMBERLAND: Female, 40+ Quickly is hostess of the Boar’s Head Tavern, frequented by Falstaff and Prince Henry / Lady Northumberland is the mother of Hotspur.
