The below characters are 16 years old to be played by actors 18+ JASON / TYRONE:
16 years old to be played by an adult actor 18+. Any ethnicity. Troubled, complex, shy with brilliant comic timing and vocal dexterity. We are probably looking for someone with some classical or formal training who possesses great stage presence and knows how to “work” an audience a bit. Actor must “come alive” via the manipulation of the puppet TYRONE (Satan). Good physical sense, “in” body and strong coordination. Puppeteer experience helpful but not a deal-breaker.
JESSICA:
16 years old to be played by an adult actor 18+. Any ethnicity. The heart of the play. Open, honest, completely transparent and non discriminatory. Patient, great sense of humor. Wise beyond her years and willing to put herself before others. Possesses self-confidence without ego and this makes her sexy.
TIMOTHY:
16 years old to be played by an adult actor 18+. Any ethnicity. The “douchebag” in the back of the class. Charisma is born out of his good looks and inability to stay within the confines of the norm. No filter so he speaks what’s on his mind because life has dealt him a cruel blow.
