SEEKING

Equity/Non-Equity female and male actors with range, intensity and emotional depth for a gripping, three-character drama. Actors of all races and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.



PREPARATION

Be prepared to read from sides. Bring picture and resume.

First rehearsal: April 5, 2017; Performance dates: May 10, 11, 12 & 13, 2017

The play will run for four performances at Theatre Row/The Studio Theatre (410 West 42nd Street, NYC) in May 2017. Rehearsals will be held in midtown Manhattan, evenings and weekends, through April and early May 2017.

BREAKDOWN

Adele (Lead):
Female, 25-35. Adele is a new teacher at a public school in Washington DC. She has a keen intellect and an independent spirit. Her eccentricity can be both charming and off-putting.

Tucker (Lead):
Male, 40-55. Tucker works for the Department of Homeland Security. He takes pride in his job and is good at what he does. He has an observant and incisive mind. His self-confidence may border on arrogance.

New York City premiere of the ominous thriller 'Bigger Than You Bigger Than Me' by Kathryn Coughlin. This new play explores our anxieties over the threat of terrorism and extremist violence in post-9/11 America
