Seeking
Equity actors who sing for various roles.

All actors should possess an off center sense of humor and huge smarts. Extremely interested in all ethnicities & body types. All roles must sing.

Preparation
Please prepare a short contemporary music theatre or pop song that shows off personality & voice. Bring sheet music; accompanist will be provided.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Amandine / Gina / Sylvie:
Female, 30s-40s, Amandine is pinched, nervous and needy; Gina is an older sister-type, a waitress with big dreams; Sylvie is a bored but well-intentioned sex shop worker.

Suzanne / Collignon's mother:
Female, 40s-50s, Suzanne has seen it all, self- made person, practical, clear-eyed, dryly funny, was a performer, something of a beauty but tired; Collignon's mother (older) is a know it all, a bit paranoid.

Georgette / Eva:
Female, 20s-30s, Georgette is an overwhelmed hypochondriac; Eva is spunky sex shop worker. Seeking a real comedienne.

Philomene / Blind Beggar / Fluffy:
Female, Late 20s -50s, plays a flight attendant to a homeless woman to a goldfish. Kind, open. Actors with a strong movement background are a plus.

Boorish Neighbor / Mysterious man / Good looking bore / Elton John:
Male, Late 20s-50s, charismatic, big voiced & handsome. A real showman who can be charactery too. Must have a strong, rock tenor voice (a la Elton John).

Joseph / Anchorman:
Male, 30s-50s, Joseph is a plumber, scowling, jealous obsessive; cleans up well.

Hipolito / Collignon's father:
Male, 40s-60s, failed writer, coffee shop intellectual, idealist; Collignon's sneaky father.
