Breakdown

STEVEN

(A man/boy 29) A married, closeted, gay High School Drama Teacher in the 60's

burbs, he is a savior to his outcast theater geeks. In his scene, he is alone on stage,

talking one down from a window ledge. Recklessly spilling his guts, he will not be

accorded tenure.

BILLY

(20) A Cute, gay, chorus kid (dancer) just two years out of the burbs, he is playing

it by ear, very verbose, and with a good sense of the ridiculous. Good thing too, as

this is the day, two days after President Kennedy's funeral, he has his bi-polar mother

and distant dad arriving at his Hell's Kitchen flat , for a first viewing, and Thanksgiving

dinner.
