Preparation
Please prepare 2 contrasting pop/rock/R&B songs of your choosing. Please bring music for the accompanist. Please bring Resume and Headshot to audition.

NOTE: All actors will be considered for all roles.

Spectacular holiday carols and surprising time-bending classics whisk your family on a captivating ride with the three soulful, rockin’ ghosts in Scrooge’s transformative dream. This inspiring, original adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic features a traditional Victorian setting and gorgeous period costumes, but with a musical score that spans genres and eras, from rousing gospel to rock-n-soul favorites, and from nostalgic harmony classics to contemporary hits. Just like the music in the films Moulin Rouge, Scrooged and The Great Gatsby, ZACH’s A Christmas Carol is infused with a playful, joyous and heartfelt celebration of the season.

SEEKING Equity and non-Equity actors for:

Ebenezer Scrooge
The miserly owner of a London accountant's office. The three spirits of Christmas visit the stodgy bean-counter in hopes of reversing Scrooge's greedy, cold-hearted approach to life. Age 50 – 65. Should be able to carry a tune.

The Ghost of Christmas Present
The second spirit to visit Scrooge, a majestic holiday presence. She escorts Scrooge on a tour of his contemporaries' Holiday celebrations. Any adult age. Singing required.
