Seasonal Allergies have a tendency to show themselves right around the holidays: a tickle in the back of the throat when the vegetables are cooked a full hour before the turkey, watery eyes at pulling the Christmas lights down from the attic and discovering that only half of the strands light up. Julia Shelby comes down with the worst case of Seasonal Allergies in her life when she invites her recently divorced brother Peter to stay for a few days while he gets himself back on his feet. His neediness and strange behaviors turn Julia’s immaculate house upside-down and he quickly goes from a welcomed guest to a monumental pain in the butt. Spanning from Thanksgiving to New Year’s, this fast-paced and family-friendly comedy is a healthy dose of fun as it explores a heartwarming story about friends, family, and the stresses of the holiday season.
