On The Quays' Summer Intensive & Workshops - On The Quays

Don't have your summer plans squared away? Study with some of New York City’s most experienced musical theater masters through On The Quay’s summer intensive performance workshops. Through a specially tailored formula of private vocal coaching sessions and master classes, our program will hone your musical theater skills and culminate in a performance at The West End Lounge in New York City.



Each student will receive three private sessions with On The Quays' resident music director, Keiji Ishiguri, working to refine vocal technique and explore/expand repertoire. In weekly master classes, students will gain experience performing in front of each other, exploring the acting beats of their songs with Mr. Ishiguri and director Stefanie Harris. In a final celebration of their work, students have the opportunity to perform their material as a cabaret in an authentic New York performance venue.

In addition to the private coaching sessions and master classes, students are encouraged to participate in special add-on classes throughout the intensive to develop new skills. Special add-on classes include:



- Audition Technique with Jaque Carnhana & Janet Krupin

- Broadway Dance with Tommy Bracco & Tiffany Laterza

- Shakespeare Training with Stefanie Harris

- Dialects with Rachel Berger

- Stage Combat with Erin Jerozal & Steven West



Students can participate in specialty classes alongside the musical theatre intensive or choose to just participate in specialty classes.

Summer Intensive

TUITION: $400

(Includes three 30-minute solo coachings, three master classes, and performance fees)



Add-On Classes

Single Class: $50

Five Classes: $200 ($40/class)
