Work with the Managing Director of Casting, Angela Mickey of Liz Lewis Casting Partners, a bi-coastal casting agency, on commercial reads and proper on-camera audition technique.



Commercial auditions are 99% of the time cold reads. The actor almost never receives the copy in advance. Young actors need to learn some important skills to help with cold read auditions like how to improv on the spot and how to quickly analyze the text to figure out which words are the “buzz” words which help sell the product without being too over the top and presentational.



Angela will work with students on how to make strong, bold choices that are at once authentic and subtle but also impactful to help sell the product.
