About Paul Verhoeven opens a new way in film making. In the first part of the film, we are introduced to Verhoeven's Experience. His charisma and passion for cinema brought many aspiring young talents into this adventure. Through interviews and various events taking place during the 9 months of the production process, we look at this unique movie making experience, who saw an entire nation to guide and inspire their most talented film Director. In the second part, we look at the result of this creative experience : a drama of lies and betrayal. The story centers on real estate tycoon and womanizer Remco (Peter Blok - Black Book). During his 50th birthday party thrown by his wife Ineke (Ricky Koole - Sonny Boy), his successful and frivolous lifestyle takes a turn for the worse. His business partners, Wim and Fred, are scheming behind his back to sell him out. And to make matters worse, both his current mistress Merel and his former office-fling Nadja, show up uninvited with one of them pregnant.
