Wendy's back with all new shows and couldn't wait to return to her Hot Topics chair! Find out Wendy's thoughts on Simon Cowell becoming a dad and what she thinks about the new "Dancing with the Stars" cast in the new promo below. Plus, Wendy tells us how she spent her summer singing on Broadway!

In this milestone year, Wendy returns with more sizzling entertainment news in her popular Hot Topics segment, more interviews with some familiar and some new Hollywood and celebrity friends and also sees Ms. Williams mark her 50th birthday in mid-2014. "This year is all about the number five. The crew and I are celebrating our fifth year on-air and for the past 18 months I've been getting in shape, working towards my half century, so I am ready to bring the fabulousness!" Williams said.

Season five will begin with a new show opener and credits. Wendy's familiar "Feel It" theme song is now remixed for an up-tempo entrance. The song is also available to download on iTunes. "We're making some minor enhancements to the look and the feel of the show this season. We're also making it easier for viewers to interact with us, there are a ton of new initiatives we're rolling out on the wendyshow.com website and through social media," she added. Over summer, loyal Twitter followers of "The Wendy Williams Show" passed the one million mark, joining the million-plus Likes she has on Facebook.

"Audiences sat up and took notice when we expanded Hot Topics late last year and the decision to do so has paid off. We extended Wendy's run of original shows over the summer and saw significant year-to-year growth during these months, putting us in an excellent starting position for this milestone season," said Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus in a joint statement. Having been renewed earlier this year for another three seasons, Williams is set to continue expanding her on-air footprint through 2017.
