Justin Timberlake performed for President Barack Obama and The First Family at the White House on Tuesday, April 9th in celebration of Memphis soul music. The 'Suit and Tie' singer gave his rendition of the Otis Redding classic (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay'. Check out the performance below!

The former 'NSync band member encouraged the President and first Lady Michelle Obama to join in for the final stanza and the couple gladly obliged. The show formed part of the White House's In Performance series, which features musicians celebrating different themes and history of America's artistic crafts.

In a statement to the Associated Press on Memphis soul music, the President commented, "Let's face it, who does not love this music? These songs get us on the dancefloor. They get stuck in our heads. We go back over them again and again. And they've played an important part in our history."

Timberlake's latest album The 20/20 Experience is currently number one in both the US and the UK for the third consecutive week.
