Focus Features has shared the first trailer for THE YOUNG MESSIAH, hitting theaters in time for Easter on March 11, 2016. Get a first look below!

The fim follows seven-year-old Jesus Christ and his family as begin to appreciate his His divine nature and purpose. The cast features Sean Bean as Severus, David Bradley as the Old Rabbi, Jonathan Bailey as King Herod, Isabelle Adriani as Seleni, Christian McKay as Cleopas and Adam Greaves-Neal as Jesus Christ.

Cyrus Nowrasteh and Betsy Nowrasteh penned the screenplay based on the novel "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt" by Anne Rice. The Young Messiah is directed by Nowrasteh and produced by Chris Columbus, Michael Barnathan and Mark Radcliffe (Pixels).
