Tracy Morgan & Wal-Mart Settle Accident Suit

According to The Hollywood Reporter, comedian and TV star Tracy Morgan has settled his suit against Wal-Mart following the accident that left Morgan and two others wounded, and one killed in June 2014.

Though the details are confidential, Wal-Mart said it was an "amicable settlement."

"Wal-Mart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families," Morgan said in a statement, according to Deadline. "I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably."

In the accident, Morgan was riding as a passenger in a vehicle that was hit in a multi-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. The accident involved a collision with a Walmart tractor-trailer truck. In Morgan's vehicle one passenger was killed and Morgan was seriously injured. Since the accident, Morgan has been using a wheelchair and a cane and undergoes daily speech, cognitive, occupational, and physical therapies.

Tracy Morgan is an American actor and comedian best known for his eight seasons as a cast member on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (1996-2003) and for his role as Tracy Jordan in the comedy series 30 ROCK (seven seasons, from 2006-2013). He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2009 for his work on 30 Rock. He has appeared in numerous films as an actor and as a voice talent.
