Thursday Premiere of CBS's BIG BROTHER Posts Growth in Viewers & Key Demos

The Thursday premiere of BIG BROTHER posted year-to-year growth in viewers and key demographics and was the night's top-rated program in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for June 26.

From 9:00-10:00 PM, BIG BROTHER was first in viewers (6.56m), adults 18-49 (2.3/08), adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and adults 18-34 (1.5/06). Compared to last year, BIG BROTHER's Thursday premiere was up +6% in viewers (from 6.18m), +10% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1) and +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5).

This marks the second consecutive night of year to-year growth for BIG BROTHER following Wednesday's premiere, which posted year-to-year viewer and demo gains versus last season.

CBS won Thursday in viewers (5.66m), adults 18-49 (1.5/05) and adults 25-54 (2.0/06).
