Telemundo announced that it will broadcast President Barack Obama's speech to the nation in which he is expected to issue an executive order on immigration, live from Washington, D.C. this Thursday, November 20 at 8 PM EST (7 PM Central, 5 PM Pacific).

"Noticiero Telemundo" anchors José Díaz-Balart and María Celeste Arrarás will be in the US capital to lead the network's coverage of this anxiously awaited speech. In addition to the speech itself, Noticias Telemundo will feature expert analysis and commentary of the impact the president's decision will have on the lives of millions of undocumented workers, as well as the reactions of members of the Hispanic community across the country. Following the speech, a special Noticias Telemundo program at 11:30PM/10:30 C will offer a summary of the president's announcement and more in-depth analysis of its consequences. Coverage of this historic event will continue during regular broadcasts of the network's news programs and informative segments, including "Un Nuevo Día," "Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste" and "Noticiero Telemundo."
