New York Non-Fiction Shorts Program (60min.)

Some things can only happen in New York: people coming together from different walks of life, a humble worker becoming a living legend. Here, some things always go together: pizza and subways, street hustlers and chess. And here, one person’s decay is another person’s garden, one’s junk is another’s gold. This program is a salutation to everyone who hustles to “make it right,” a celebration of those who make the most of every nook and cranny and opportunity, and an unsentimental memorialization of all the people and places, present and past, that make New York the most amazing city in the world.

Venue: On the Open Road Rooftop above New Design High School, located at 350 Grand St. @ Essex, Lower East Side, Manhattan, F, J, M, Z to Delancey Street-Essex Street; B, D, Q to Grand Street

8:00PM: Doors open

9:00PM: Film
11:30PM-1:00AM: After-party at R Bar (218 Bowery @ Rivington) courtesy of Radeberger Pilsner
