Deadline reports that Paul Reubens, aka Pee Wee Herman, will lend his voice to the character of The White Rabbit on ABC's upcoming Once Upon a Time spin-off presentation. The project will be directed by Ralph Hemecker, who helms episodes of the hit ABC fairytale drama.

Eddy Kitsis and ADAM HOROWITZ have once again teamed to create the project which is set in 'pre-curse Wonderland,' and told through the eyes of Alice, portrayed by Sophie Lowe. Her character is said to have "a generous heart but carries the scars of a long hard life." Actor Peter Gadiot will play her love interest, Cyrus while Michael Socha will take on the role of the Knave of Hearts, described as "a sardonic adventurer."

The White Rabbit will be seen as a CG character with a voice provided by Reubens. Rounding out the cast is Emma Rigby as the Red Queen. If the presentation is picked up as a series, Barbara Hershey, who plays Cora, Wonderland's Queen Of Hearts on Once, may be featured in flashbacks. The Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat may also make appearances.

The presentation will consist of four scenes which are scheduled to begin filming later this week in Vancouver. Once executive producers Kitsis, Horowitz and Steve Pearlman will executive produce.
