THE FLASH continues to round out its ensemble.

According to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, Candice Patton (THE GAME) and ONCE's Carlos Valdes have signed on to co-star opposite Grant Gustin, Broadway vet Jesse L. Martin, Rick Gosnett and Danielle Panabake in the upcoming CW pilot THE FLASH, based on the DC comic.

The project from Warner Bros. will follow Barry Allen, also known as The Flash, "as a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling City to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past."

Patton will take on the role of future love interest for Barry, "Iris West, a grad student who is also Barry's quick-witted best friend and the daughter of Detective West (Martin)."

Valdes is set to play "Cisco Ramon, a mechanical engineering genius and the youngest member of the team of scientists at STAR Labs."
