NBC's THE VOICE, BLINDSPOT Deliver Week-to-Week Gains in Key Demo

NBC is currently #1 for Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos, pending updates.

Note that NBC carried NFL football in the Baltimore market.


"Blindspot" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 8.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) is currently up +5% week to week in 18-49 and +3% in total viewers (8.083 million vs. 7.817 million), pending updates.

Currently ranks #1 in the slot among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in every key demo (including a tie in men 18-34).

Is up +38% versus NBC's average in the slot last season in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 1.6).

in six weeks, has delivered NBC's six highest ratings in the slot, excluding sports, in the last 11 months (since Nov. 17, 2014, 2.2 with "The Blacklist").

NBC Research is projecting a 4.4 rating in 18-49 after seven days of time-shifting and alternate-platform viewing.

"Blindspot" delivers heavy time-shifting and VOD viewership:

Last week's "Blindspot" grew by +74% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 ratings (2.12 to 3.68) and by 4.4 million viewers overall (7.8 million to 12.2 million)..

Last week's "Blindspot" grew in L+3 by 4.402 million, the biggest lift of the night, ahead of "Big Bang Theory" (+4.226 million)..

Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 127 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes.

"The Voice" (3.1/9 in 18-49, 11.9 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): is currently growing week to week by +3% in 18-49 (3.1 vs. 3.0) and +4% in total viewers (11.858 million vs. 11.400 million), pending updates.

Is currently winning the time period among the Big 4 in adults 25-54 and all key adults-female demos, as well as adults 18-34 (tie).

Jumps +24% versus what the prior cycle was averaging in last May's sweep (3.1 vs. 2.5) and is up +14% in total viewers (11,858 million vs. 10.440 million), despite last night's competition from CBS's "Big Bang Theory" and "Supergirl" premiere, as well as ESPN's NFL football.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- so far this season, Monday's "Voice" has grown in L+7 vs. L+SD by +26% in 18-49 rating (from a 3.39 to a 4.27) and 2.5 million viewers overall (12.2 million to 14.7 million).

Upscale: Monday's "Voice" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 115 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.3/9; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
