NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT Matches Season High in Key Demo

NBC wins the night in every key measure, dominating six of six half-hours among the Big 4 nets in both 18-49 and total viewers. "America's Got Talent" (2.7/10 in 18-49, 13.7 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): Matches its season high in 18-49 and equals a two-year high (matching its best since June 3, 2014, 2.9). Hits a five-year high in total viewers (best since Sept. 14, 2011, 14.4 million).

Jumps +13% versus the same night last year in 18-49 (2.7 vs. 2.4 on Sept. 15, 2015) and +20% in total viewers (13.659 million vs. 11.401 million).

Grows +8% week to week in 18-49 (2.7 vs. 2.5) and +14% in total viewers (13.659 million vs. 11.958 million).

Is the #1 show of the night and wins the slot among the Big 4 networks in 18-49, total viewers and all other key categories.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the prior Tuesday "Talent" increased by +17% in 18-49 (2.50 to 2.92) and +1.6 million viewers overall (12.0 million to 13.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3, delivering the biggest L+3 lifts of the night in total viewers and 18-49 rating (+0.42).

"Better Late Than Never" (1.7/6 in 18-49, 7.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Hits series highs in 18-49 and total viewers. Equals the highest rating for any episode of any original summer series on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX this season in 18-49 (matching the 1.7 for ABC's "$100,000 Pyramid" premiere from 9-10 p.m. on Sunday, June 26).

Delivers the #2 biggest total-viewer result for any telecast of any original summer series on those nets this season, behind only the 8.1 million for the "$100,000 Pyramid" premiere

Increases +13% week to week in both 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.5) and total viewers (7.780 million vs. 6.911 million).

Wins the time period versus ABC and CBS in every key category.

Is up +55% versus NBC's average in the time period over the four weeks prior to the Olympics before the "BLTN" premeire . in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.1 for July 12 through Aug. 2) and +63% in total viewers (7.780 million vs. 4.762 million).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - Last week's series debut grew by +18% in 18-49 (1.53 to 1.80) and +1.3 million viewers overall 6.9 million to 8.2 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
