NBC has signed a new first-look production deal with Nick Cannon, host of NBC's hit "America's Got Talent," and Cannon's NCredible Entertainment banner. It was announced today by Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. Cannon and his longtime manager and business partner, Michael Goldman are the principals in NCredible Entertainment, which will develop both unscripted and scripted programming for the network.

"We are gratified to know that this new agreement will expand our successful working relationship with Nick beyond 'America's Got Talent' and allow him to further draw on his notable creative instincts," said Telegdy. "Nick already has produced content for many entertainment genres and formats, and we look forward with great anticipation to his cutting-edge ideas in the months to come."

Cannon will return as host on "America's Got Talent" next summer, NBC's top-rated summer reality competition series, which brings the variety format back to the forefront of American culture. Cited by People magazine as one of the 'Top Ten most successful young people in Hollywood' and featured on the cover of Black Enterprises' 40 Under 40, the 32-year-old Cannon is a successful, multi-faceted entertainer: film star, comedian, musician, writer and executive producer of his very own hit TV shows, as well as a feature film director.

"Working closely with Paul Telegdy and the folks at NBC has been incredibly rewarding. I am thrilled to expand my role and contributions by creating original programming for the NBC Universal team," said Cannon.

In a breakout year of production, NCredible Entertainment is one of the fastest growing brands in entertainment, establishing the company as a prolific tastemaker in youth culture.

As part of a longtime relationship between Cannon with Nickelodeon, the 4th installment of the HALO Awards, an annual awards show identifying and acknowledging the amazing accomplishments of teenagers overcoming difficult personal circumstances and making a positive impact in the community, aired on November 19th on Nickelodeon and Teen Nick. The show was created, executive produced, and hosted by Cannon, under the NCredible Entertainment banner.

The next big foray in the kids' cable marketplace for NCredible is a 30 minute live-action sketch comedy show at The Cartoon Network titled "Incredible Crew." The show was created by Cannon, who along with Goldman, produced 13 episodes which will begin airing on January 21st. The network will sneak-peek two episodes on New Year's Eve.

Production also will begin in January on a relaunch of "Wild 'N Out," a series created, produced, and hosted by Cannon for four successful seasons on MTV. The original series became a launching pad for the comedy careers of Katt Williams, Kevin, Hart, Taran Killam and Affion Crocket, among others. The new series, titled "Wild 'N Out," is currently casting, has a 12 episode order and will air on MTV2 next year.

NCredible Entertainment recently crossed into film production, recently wrapping on "School Dance" for Lionsgate. This marks Cannon's feature film directorial debut. Cannon co-wrote, directed, and produced the film that stars an ensemble cast including Kevin Hart, George Lopez, Katt Williams, Wilmer Valderrama, Patrick Warburton, and Luenell. The film was produced by Cannon and Goldman as under their NCredible Entertainment banner.

Moving the NCredible Entertainment brand beyond traditional entertainment, Cannon partnered with Monster and launched NCredible headphones last year, marking the company's first venture into the consumer electronics business. The successful collaboration led to a November launch of the NCredible's next generation headphones timed to Black Friday and holiday shopping for 2012.

Cannon recently garnered a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role as a series regular on the new Lorne Michaels-produced NBC scripted comedy, "Up All Night," opposite Maya Rudolph, Christina Applegate and Will Arnett.

ICM Partners represents Cannon and NCredible Entertainment. Attorneys are Del, Shaw, Moonves, Tanaka, Finkelstein & Lezcano.
