Veteran WCBS-TV on-air promotion executive Lee Grossman has been named Director, On-Air Promotion and Marketing, CBS Television Stations, it was announced today by Bruce Erik Brauer, Senior Vice President, Creative Services for the station group.

Grossman has served as Manager, On-Air Promotion and Executive Producer, CBS 2 New York, since 2006. He has held similar responsibilities at WLNY 10/55 since CBS acquired the independent station in 2011.

In addition to retaining his current responsibilities with CBS's New York duopoly, Grossman will work closely with Brauer and the station group's local creative services directors to develop on-air promotional campaigns, share best practices, improve workflow and develop graphics packages.

"Lee is one of the most talented and creative people in our business," Brauer said. "He has been a key contributor to the success of our stations in New York for many years and we look forward to having him share his expertise with our sister stations across the country."

"Lee is a great team player who has helped make CBS 2 the most-watched television station in the country," added Peter Dunn, President, CBS Television Stations, and President and General Manager, WCBS and WLNY. "We are pleased to recognize his many years of service and proven ability to produce impactful spots with this well-deserved promotion."

Grossman has spent his entire career with CBS. He gained his first television experience as an intern in the WCBS-TV creative services department in 1997. He then was a member of the CBS Page program prior to BECOMING a promo writer and producer for CBS 2.
