Katherin Heigl will soon return to television in NBC's new drama, STATE OF AFFAIRS - in anticipation of the show's premiere on Nov. 17, Heigl held a Facebook Q&A with fans, according to The Huffington Post, and opened up about some of the long-running rumors about her attitude.

When asked how she felt about being called "very rude," primarily after her falling out with GREY'S ANATOMY creator Shonda Rhimes, Heigl said:

"Yeah I've heard those too...honestly I don't think I am...nothing makes me more uncomfortable than confrontation or hurting someone's feelings and I would never, ever actively do so on purpose. Of course just like any human being I've made mistakes and unwittingly or carelessly spoken or acted but I always try to make any wrong right. That doesn't mean I won't stand up for myself by drawing boundaries and asking to be treated kindly and respectfully but I don't do that with any rude or unkind intentions just with the same strength and honesty I think every one of us is entitled to."

Heigl returns to television in NBC's "State of Affairs,' premiering Nov. 17

An Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe-nominated actress, Heigl is best known for her starring roles in the feature films "The Ugly Truth," "27 Dresses" and "Knocked Up," as well as her portrayal of Dr. Isobel 'Izzie' Stevens in "Grey's Anatomy."
