Variety reports that the mysterious 'secret project' which comedian Jerry Seinfeld recently eluded to during a Reddit AMA earlier this month is a reunion of NBC's long running sitcom SEINFELD.

During an appearance on today's "Boomer & Carton" radio show on WFAN, Seinfeld responded to questions concerning a January 13th photo (at left) which featured the comic with Seinfeld co-star Jason Alexander, walking into a New York west side diner which served as the fictional 'Monks' restaurant throughout the series.

Seinfeld denied reports that the project was a Super Bowl commercial, or an episode of his hit web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," and without giving away many details, did confirm that Alexander was reprising his role as Jerry's best bud, George Costanza and that other "Seinfeld" characters were involved.

He described the project as "short-ish form," a "one-and-done" thing involving Larry David in some way that will be made available "very, very soon."
