History's Scripted Military Drama Series SIX Premieres to 2.6 Million Total Viewers

HISTORY's scripted military drama series SIX premiered to a combined 2.6 million total viewers across HISTORY, A&E and LMN, according to Nielsen Fast Nationals (Live+SD). Across the three networks, SIX delivered 1.1 million Adults 25-54 and 912,000 Adults 18-49, positioning it within the top 5 scripted ad-supported cable drama new series launches of 2016-17 to date among key demos (excluding mini-series). On HISTORY, SIX attracted 1.7 million total viewers, 739,000 Adults 25-54 and 615,000 Adults 18-49. After a one week promotional play across A&E and LMN, SIX will air new episodes Wednesdays at 10pm ET/PT exclusively on HISTORY.

SIX stars Walton Goggins (Vice Principals, Sons of Anarchy, Justified) Barry Sloane (Revenge, Noah), Kyle Schmid (Copper, Being Human), Juan Pablo Raba (Narcos), Edwin Hodge (The Purge, Chicago Fire), Brianne Davis (Jarhead), Nadine Velazquez (Flight) and Dominic Adams (Devious Maids). The series follows a brotherhood of modern American warriors, SEAL Team Six, the best of the best, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists.

SIX is created by Academy Award(R) nominee William Broyles and David Broyles, a military special operations veteran. William Broyles, Harvey and Bob Weinstein, David Glasser, Nicolas Chartier, Alfredo Barrios, Jr. (Burn Notice), George W. Perkins (Live from Baghdad), Bruce C. McKenna (Band of Brothers, The Pacific), David Broyles, Barry Jossen and Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland, Ray Donovan) are executive producers. Karen Campbell (Dexter) serves as the supervising producer and joins Barrios, McKenna, and William and David Broyles as writers on the series. Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Mitchell Hall (Zero Dark Thirty; Lone Survivor) serves as the series' technical advisor and associate producer. CNN's national security analyst Peter Bergen serves as the series' terrorism consultant. Jana Bennett and Arturo Interian are the executives in charge of production for HISTORY. A+E Networks holds worldwide distribution rights for SIX.
