HBO Comedy Pilot on the Way from Oprah Winfrey & Diablo Cody

Variety confirms today HBO is currently developing a comedy pilot from 'Juno' scribe Diablo Cody and the Queen of all Media,' Oprah Winfrey. The project will be based on Dr. Julie Holland's upcoming book "Moody Bitches."

According to the report, the project will expose "the truth about the drugs you're taking, the sex you're not having, the sleep you're missing and what's really making you crazy," as the book's extended title says.

Cody is set to pen the pilot script and will serve as executive producer along with Winfrey, whose Harpo Films will produce the comedy. Cody recently sold her drama project "Prodigy" to Fox.

Cody's 2007 film Juno was the recipient of the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, the BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay, the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay and the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay.
