SPORTSCENTER will examine and compare the historic seasons of the current Golden State Warriors and the record-setting 1995-96 Chicago Bulls in a one-hour special airing Friday, April 15, at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.

SC Special: THE CHASE FOR 72, hosted by SPORTSCENTER anchor Kevin Connors, will continue the season-long #SCThrowback celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 72-win Bulls campaign, which set an NBA record for the most wins during the regular season, and how SPORTSCENTER covered that team during that season. The special also will highlight Golden State's current pursuit of the record.

Elements of the special will include:
A Bulls and Warriors SPORTSCENTER Top 10, featuring the 10 best plays of the year for each team

Historic clips from SPORTSCENTER programs during the 95-96 Bulls' season, voiced by SPORTSCENTER anchors of the time including Kenny Mayne, Dan Patrick and Robin Roberts
"Mini Movies" showcasing THE TIMELINE of the season for each team

ESPN's NBA COUNTDOWN crew breaks down the strengths and weaknesses of each team and how they are comparable

Former Chicago Bulls announcer Ray Clay provides THE VOICE for the program's intro.
