Today ESPN is unveiling the roster of sponsors for The 2016 ESPYS Presented by Capital One®. WWE Superstar John Cena will host this year's show, which will feature a star-studded lineup of celebrities and athletes honoring the most remarkable sports stories of the past year. The event will be televised live Wednesday, July 13, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Capital One will return as the presenter of the ESPYS Countdown and the Nomination Special, while bringing a unique 360-degree photo angle to the red carpet with the Capital One Quicksilver® Cam. Additionally, the Capital One Cup®, awarded annually to the best men's and women's Division I college athletic programs in the country, will be given at The ESPYS.

First-time associate sponsors include Booking.com, which will take over ESPN's Snapchat Discover edition and Fanatics, the world's largest officially licensed sports merchandise retailer, who will create a signature Jersey Wall on the red carpet as a backdrop for talent interviews and photo/video opportunities. Returning associate sponsors include Cadillac, Gatorade, GREY GOOSE® vodka, Old Spice and Miller Lite, which will present the official ESPYS Post Party.

Sponsorship benefits and hospitality opportunities include various media components across many of ESPN's platforms, such as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN.com and ESPN's Mobile website along with ESPN Radio and ESPN The Magazine. Sponsors also participate in the ESPYS Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Capital One, benefitting the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

About The 2016 ESPYS The ESPYS gather top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports by recognizing major sports achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances. The 2016 ESPYS will recognize both sport-specific achievements, such as "Best MLB Player" and "Best WNBA Player," and best-in-sport winners, such as "Best Team" or "Best Female Athlete" that pit nominees from different sports against each other. The ESPYS support ESPN's ongoing commitment to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, launched by ESPN with the late Jim Valvano in 1993.
