DUELING DOCTORS Among New Series Premieres on Z Living

Increasing its commitment to original programming that speaks to viewers' rising fascination and focus on health and living well, Z LIVING today announced the premiere of two new original series, I BEAT THE ODDS and DUELING DOCTORS, and one new acquired series, COOK YOUR ASS OFF, all premiering in November.

In addition to these three new series, Z LIVING will soon be announcing a development slate with projects from some of television's most prolific and creative producers of unscripted lifestyle content.

I BEAT THE ODDS tells remarkable real-life stories of terrifying diagnoses and deadly diseases cured by seemingly unimaginable natural treatments and therapies. This inspiring series follows each story through reenactments, first-hand testimonies, innovative graphics and insight from medical and health experts. I Beat the Odds is produced by BASE Productions with Mickey Stern, John Brenkus and Chris Lofft serving as executive producers. Thirteen episodes premiere Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 9 pm ET.

DUELING DOCTORS is the ultimate medical showdown in which two physicians - one who embraces holistic methods and one who practices Western medicine - debate the best treatments for common ailments. The series is produced by Veria Living, with Rob Dauber serving as executive producer. Series premieres Monday, Nov. 2 at 5 pm ET and airs daily for three consecutive weeks.

In addition to these two new original series, the network has acquired COOK YOUR ASS OFF, a high-stakes cooking competition show hosted by celebrity chef Richard Blais. Each week, three contestants are challenged to reinvent and transform unhealthy dishes into nutritious eats, with only one chef walking away with a cash prize. COOK YOUR ASS OFF comes from Jane Street Entertainment and is distributed by Turner Entertainment Networks, Inc. Thirteen episodes premiere Monday, Nov. 2 at 9 pm ET.
