The Miami real estate market is exciting, but it takes a tough contractor to muscle through the challenging renovation process to get top dollar on a sale. In DIY Network's new series Miami Flip, premiering tonight, October 21, at 11 p.m. and 11:30 ET/PT, licensed contractor and fearless renovator Carolina Sullivan showcases her keen eye for buying low and selling high as she and her team gut outdated Miami properties and renovate them into gorgeous modern homes to sell.

"In this business, you have to be smart and hard-working," said Carolina. "I run a tight ship because one bad deal is a big deal. Flipping houses is hard work, but every project I've done has been worth it."

During the premiere episode of the series, Carolina buys an older home in an online auction - sight unseen - because of its location in a prime neighborhood. The episode follows Carolina as she breaks through concrete blocks and knocks down interior walls to Create an open-concept floorplan. The renovation moves fast until mistakes happen with kitchen measurements that threaten to derail Carolina's time and budget plans.
