Get ready for Jeff Ross's most dangerous Roast yet: an armed police force. Ross crosses the (thin blue) line in his latest adventure, shipping up to Boston to roast and ride along with the Boston Police Department. JEFF ROSS ROASTS COPS - a one-hour special combining documentary filmmaking, stand-up comedy and investigative journalism - premieres with limited commercial interruption on September 10 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

"Everybody in America is talking about the cops, but almost no one is talking to them," said Ross. "So I wondered, 'What's their job really like right now?' and 'If I make fun of them, will they laugh, or will they want to kill me?'"

"Jeff Ross Roasts Cops" follows Ross during filmed ride-alongs with Boston police, interviews with top police brass (including Commisioner William B. Evans), Roast sets at BPD events and inside the precinct, real-time on-site interviews with anti-police brutality protesters in New York, and casual conversation and improvised banter on the streets of Boston with everyday citizens. Investigating both sides of police-community relations, Ross uses comedy to seek out the humanity within one of America's most controversial issues.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, cc.com will feature preview clips from the special. Clips from "Jeff Ross Roasts Cops" will also be available in the CC app and the Comedy Central channel on Snapchat Discover. Fans can follow Ross on Twitter at @RealJeffreyRoss and Comedy Central Stand-Up at @ccstandup to join the social conversation around the special.

"Jeff Ross Roasts Cops" will be available on cc.com and in the Comedy Central App, and the extended and uncensored version will be available for digital download, on Sunday, September 11.
