48 HOURS: "A Vision of Murder" was Saturday's #1 broadcast at 10:00 PM with adults 25-54 - the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news - and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 2.

48 HOURS delivered 5.12 million viewers and a 1.2/04 with adults 25-54. Compared to the previous week, 48 HOURS maintained its delivery with adults 25-54 and added +110,000 viewers. 48 HOURS was Saturday's #1 primetime program in viewers.

Saturday's broadcast featured Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigation into the case against Sheila Trott, a mother of two living in central Florida who claimed she was awakened one night with a dream that she saw the possible murder of a friend, Kelly Brennan. Brennan was later found bludgeoned to death in the spot where Trott said was in her dream.

The police investigation into the Trott's story exposed secrets, lies, an affair and jealousy. Was Trott a clairvoyant or a killer? A jury believed she was a killer, and eventually convicted her of first-degree murder for the death of Brennan.

48 HOURS: "A Vision of Murder" is produced by Taigi Smith, Clare Friedland, Michelle Feuer and Alicia Tejada. Michael Vele is the producer-editor.
