CBS SUNDAY MORNING was the #1 Sunday morning news program and posted year-to-year increases with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 27.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.87 million viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +6% in viewers (from 5.54m) and up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.2/07).

Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program with viewers and adults 25-54. The broadcast is up +6% in viewers (5.87m from 5.52m) and up +9% in adults 25-54 (1.2/06 from 1.1/06) compared to last year.

Sunday's broadcast, anchored by Jane Pauley, featured Martha Teichner's look back on the life and legacy of Fidel Castro; Lee Cowan's emotional conversation with pop music superstar Lady Gaga; Tracy Smith's interview with actor Casey Affleck; Faith Salie's story about a man who makes quilts inspired by heavy metal music; Seth Doane's visit with "the stationmaster" at Tokyo's central rail station; and historian Douglas Brinkley's thoughts on Fidel Castro.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
